The Award Ceremony of the HKMKC Concludes Successfully Congratulations to Every Young Math Talent!
On May 3rd, 2025, the award ceremony of the Hong Kong Mathematics Kangaroo Contest (HKMKC) was successfully held in Hong Kong. Students and guests from over 300 schools gathered to celebrate the achievements of young math talents.
This year’s contest drew a record 6,958 participants across divisions from primary to high school. Among them, students in Grade 5 and Grade 6 delivered exceptional performances, with nine and ten students respectively achieving a perfect score of 100 to earn First Prize honors. From first-time contestants to returning awardees, students showcased outstanding reasoning skills and shone brightly on stage.
The award ceremony aimed to recognize students who achieved outstanding results in the 2025 Hong Kong Mathematics Kangaroo Contest and to encourage them to continue exploring the wonders of mathematics. The atmosphere was lively and joyful, filled with laughter, applause, and a shared passion for learning.

During the award presentation, winners took to the stage one after another, their faces beaming with confidence and pride. It was not only a recognition of their past efforts, but also an encouragement to embrace future challenges. The ceremony also featured interactive math games, which brought energy and laughter to the room. Children actively participated, experiencing the joy of mathematics and the spirit of teamwork in a lively and engaging atmosphere.
